HAUTED DEMON OPPRESSION DEMON
GHOST OR SPIRIT THAT APPEAR TO A PERSON REPEATEDLY WITH AIM OF BOTHERING, HARMING, OR OPPRESSING THEM
54  You have a real dark look around you, 'cause you're suffering from some kind of a oppression, demon bothering you. Isn't that true? You're haunted. It's like something haunting at you all the time. It'd run you wild if it could. Here's another thing, lady. What you really need is Jesus Christ. You—you—you believe Him. You have confidence in Him, but you really have never just come right out and owned Him the way you should. Isn't that the truth? Yes. See you're… Now, to heal you, I can't. But your life, you couldn't hide. You see? That was close margin there. But I—I can see the way the Spirit of God is moving. Is that the truth? If it's… It's the truth.
Now, will you at this time accept Him as your personal Saviour before this group of people, and promise by God's help from this night on, you'll live for Him the best of your knowledge, the rest of your days. If you will, by God's help, I'll make the evil thing leave you and never return again. You will promise. Come here.

53-0829 - The Testimony Of Jesus Christ

SINNER A TIMES HAUNTED IN A NIGHTMARE OF TROUBLE MIND, IT ATIMES WARNING THEM WHERE THEY'D GO IF THEY DIE IN SUCH CONDITION
118  But a man that lives like that has no peace. There is no peace to a troubled heart. To a sinful heart, there cannot be peace. If a man longs to drink, and he calls that life, he thinks he is having a big time, it shows his emptiness. Take a man, make a million dollars, he wants two. Take a man that goes to a party and drinks one drink tonight, he wants another. Take a man, lives untrue to his wife once, he'll live it again; vice versa. See, it's something, and he never's satisfied. He might have a million dollars in his hands or ten million in his hand; he lays down at night with a drunken stew on him; he wakes up the next morning, haunted, nightmares, troubled mind. And you call that peace?
That's no peace.

But a man might not even have a pillow to press his head to; he might not even own a decent pair of shoes, or able to have a decent meal in his house; but if God reigns in his heart, he goes to bed happy and wakes up happy. It's a lasting peace. It's something that God does.

58-1221E - The Unity Of One God In The One Church
Rev. William Marrion Branham

Now those visions has never been wrong. And it was just one of the most horrible feelings I ever had, and what did…
82 I heard a noise, sounded like some kind of a—a—a haunted affair. And when it was, I looked, coming, and it was women. And they had green stuff, just could just see their face, and they had green stuff under their eyes. And their eyes looked like run back, like the women today paint their eyes, run back like that, and just their eyes and face. And they were going, "Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh!" Oh, my!
83  I just screamed out, "O God, have mercy upon me. Have mercy, O God!
Where are You? If You'll only let me go back and live, I promise You, to be a good boy."
Now, that's the only thing I could say. Now, God knows, and at the Day of Judgment, He'll judge me for that statement. That's what I said, "Lord God, let me go back, and I'll promise You I'll be a good boy."
